Women ages 18 and up are invited to join us on Saturday, July 18th for a 3.5 mile canoe trip! We will be meet and leave the church at 8 a.m. and head up to “Sugar Valley Canoe Trips” located in Marshall, IN. Sign up at the Chix table in the Atrium before or after the Exchange gathering until July 12th. Cost is $9 per person. Payment and signed liability forms are due when signing up. We will be meeting at 6 p.m. at Imperial Lanes Bowling Center and then heading out for coffee at Starbucks on Wabash Ave after wards. Join us as we visit Royal Oaks Nursing Home (3500 Maple Ave) on Thursday, April 9th at 6:45pm as we help the residents make Easter bonnets.  It’s a great way to connect with other Chix while we serve others.  Also, a group of us will be meeting at Logan’s restaurant for dinner at 5:30 pm for anyone interested in joining. Thanks for all the Chix who helped out at Terre Haute Nursing Home on Feb. 10th with making bracelets and delivering Valentines to the residents.  We had 15 Chix helping the residents, and everyone had a blast.  It would be great to return to visit these lovely men and women , to continue building relationships and showing them God’s love.  Watch for additional Crash opportunities coming soon!

What a fantastic time is was this year. It’s hard to put into words how the day went but we think a few things were accomplished. We built community by meeting new women or growing closer to the ones we already knew. We learned more about Christ by being united in Him. We also showed God’s love in a very practical way by making a few little girls in Guatemala feel like princesses. Thank you to all who came and was a part of this wonderful day. All women ages 18-108 are invited to join us on Saturday, January 31st from 1 p.m.-8:30 p.m. for the “CHIX ONE DAY” retreat here at MCC! Registration begins this Sunday, January 4th at the Chix table in the Atrium. This day will be centered around Community, Christ and Cause with teaching by Kathleen Schoene, a Crash, Life Journaling, dinner, and a fun Chix Event in the evening! Cost for attending is $12. All Chix are invited to come out on Saturday, November 22nd from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at MCC for the CHIX GAME NIGHT! This is a great way to build a little community or invite a friend for fun, food, and some friendly competition! We are also asking everyone to purchase a board game to bring that evening to donate to the children of Ryves Hall.
