New Chix Small Groups

Want to be able to connect with other women who attend eXchange? New Chix small groups have started or will be starting soon. Be apart of a Community of women who are following Christ and serving in His Cause. The following is a list of the groups and contact information:

TUESDAY:

Titus Inductive Study (5 sessions): 6:30-8:00 p.m., beginning February 19th, 5 sessions, Riley area, cost $5.00, Leader: Kathleen Schoene, 241-7808, kathleen.schoene@gmail.com

It’s That Time Again…2nd Annual Chix Retreat!!

Join us as we connect the extravagance of chocolate with the extravagance of God’s love and grace. You’ll grow closer to friends, deepen your relationship with Jesus, and be lavished with love. Together we’ll enjoy meaningful devotions, chocolaty activity, and lots of sweet fun! The retreat will be from JANUARY 25-26, 2008 at the BROWN COUNTY INNN in NASHVILLE, IN! Cost will be $85 to share a room (1 per bed). Single rooms are available at $120. Payment is also due at the time of registration. Belonging to a Chix small group will encourage, challenge, and inspire you to discover the true joy of relationships with other women. It is also a great way to get connect with other women who are interested in growing deeper in their faith with the friendship and support of others.

Register now for Race for the Cure

Registration is under way for the race Saturday, October 6th at St. Mary-of-the-Woods, and online registration is available at www.komenwabashvalley.org. The race is the largest 5K in the Wabash Valley.

This year, opening ceremonies and survivor tributes will begin at 9:15 a.m. with the Celebration Fun Walk/Run at 10:00 a.m. and the 5K Race at 10:30 a.m.

This is a great opportunity for Chix to either form a team or just get a few friends together to support a great cause.
